Projects

Building is my core passion. Over the years, my projects have reflected an end-to-end focus across mechanical design, additive manufacturing, embedded electronics, control systems, and software engineering. Key builds include a custom quadcopter combining 3D-printed parts with off-the-shelf components, a multi-DOF robotic arm, a competitive Sumo-bot, and the entire product line behind my company RobotiX One. Every project is designed from scratch in CAD, 3D printed, and programmed to solve specific challenges in mechatronics, kinematics, and real-time sensor integration.

My Business "Robotix One"

For me, engineering is about the full journey of bringing an idea to real users, from initial code to manufacturing, packaging, and marketing. To explore this end-to-end process, I founded RobotiX One, a company dedicated to making hands-on robotics accessible to beginners. I transformed my projects into a lineup of modular, 3D-printed kits like STACKR, DIGGER, LIDAR, etc. that show how software, electronics, and mechanics unite into mechatronics applications. I created full build tutorials and programming guides on my website robotixone.com and YouTube channel, and managed sales and shipping through my Shopify store. The manufacturing is done using my own 3D printing farm. I also use external providers for PCBs and other components.

Club Activity

As President of the Robotics Club, executive in the Programming Club, mentor in the Math Club, and founding member of our school's FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team, I drive curriculum design, host lectures, and provide peer mentorship across my school’s STEM community. My lectures and workshops cover a variety of subjects like CAD, 3D printing, DC motor control, ToF/LiDAR spatial sensing, KiCad PCB design, basic and advanced programming algorithms and artificial intelligence concepts. I am actively involved in FTC mechanical fabrication and drive-team strategy. I manage internal competition logistics, and lead corporate sponsorship outreach to secure hardware funding and lower barriers to entry for all members.

Community Activity

Beyond leadership and direct work in the clubs, I am deeply committed to school ambassador roles and educational outreach. My contributions include designing and facilitating elementary school robotics presentations to spark early interest in STEM through hands-on mechanical and coding demonstrations. Additionally, I serve as a student leader across key school events, organizing STEM competitions, mentoring incoming Grade 9 students during orientation, guiding prospective families during Open Houses, hosting interactive exhibits for the school's 65th Anniversary celebration, and assisting administration during Parent-Teacher evenings.

Competitions / Awards

Driven by a passion for analytical problem-solving, I have actively competed in mathematics, computer science, and robotics contests since Grade 3. Notable achievements include multiple 1st Place Perfect Scores in the Waterloo University Beaver Computing Challenge and the Waterloo University Gauss Math Contest, consecutive 1st-place finishes in the Math League, and several Top 25 distinctions in the University of Waterloo's Pascal and Cayley Math Contests. I regularly participate in competitive programming challenges and compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC).
